Beau Weaver penned the forward to the fourth edition of James Alburger's excellent text book, "The Art of Voice Acting" which is used as a textbook in over two dozen college and university theatre arts programs. Available from Amazon.com.

For the second year in a row, a promo Beau voiced for Fox's FX Movie Channel received the silver statuette for best voice over performance at the PROMAXbda Awards.

Beau serves on the Advisory Board that created the Don LaFontaine Voice Over Lab at the Screen Actors Guild Foundation. More than an iconic talent, Don was man of great generosity, humor and inclusiveness, who inspired his many friends to go to extrordinary lengths to keep that spirit alive. The lab provides training facilities and studio space for working voice actors in the mid-Wilshire district of Los Angeles.


In November, Beau hosted the first in the "Voices For Voices" series, benefitting the Don LaFontaine Voice Over Lab at the SAG Foundation, with a special performance of Bill Ratner's entertaining one man storytelling show "Bobbywood" with Q&A after.


Beau Weaver narrates two new series for Discovery Networks; a new season of MYTH HUNTERS is now in post production, along with the exciting historical recreation series BLACK OPS for Discovery's American Heroes Channel. See samples of both shows in the Narration tab on this site.

Beau Weaver and fellow Atlas Talent Rebecca Riedy provided the off camera voice over for the 2015 Creative Arts Emmy Awards broadcast, presenting over 70 acting and behind the scenes awards at the Microsoft Theater at LA LIVE. The video sample shows what it is like backstage.

Five years later...the Don LaFontaine Voice Over Lab has served over 13,000 voice actors, and a second lab space has been completed in NYC at the SAG Foundation! Well done, everyone involved in creating a worthy extension of the generous legacy of our friend Don!
